Raceway 7 will host the IRS (Independent Racing Series) opening night in their first-ever Ohio Speed Week. The series of 6 races will begin May 23rd at Raceway 7 and continue through May 31st with a separate $10,000 point fund allowing the opportunity for Late Model Drivers to earn extra cash. Based in Findley, Ohio the series began with 15 races in 2007 with Rick Auckland earning the first point title. With over 30 races scheduled for 2008 the series has commitments from top drivers in Ohio and nearby states for the new season making for exciting Late Model action.
