Raceway 7 Tries Again to Run “Freedom Classic” This Friday

Conneaut, OH, July 1, 2008: Raceway 7 will again try to run it’s three-time delayed ”Fall Classic” , “Fall into Spring Classic”, “Freedom Classic” . After attempting to run the “Fall Classic” twice in the fall, the race was rescheduled to start the 2008 season as the “Fall into Spring Classic” due to schedule conflicts with other area tracks. The only change to the original format is that the Applebee Motorsports E-Mods will be added to the card, running a regular slate of events.

The Super Late Models will be racing for 30 laps on the fast 3/8 mile oval in the Robert’s Trucking 30 for $3000 to win. This will be the first appearance of the unlimited Super Late Models since early in the season. They will be joined by the ESAB Cutting & Welding Fastrak Touring Show and the Zimmer’s Service Center Open Street Stock Invitational. The Lake Shore Auto Parts Challenger Stock Crack the Whip will also be taking place.

Rain Checks from 9/7/07 & 9/14/07 will be honored.

The track will also give away two carved bears by Dusty Don Chainsaw Carvings. One is the trophy for the Fastrak Late Models and one to a fan drawn from admission tickets.

Racing will get the green flag at 7:30 PM.

Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90, on Ohio Route 7, just south of Monroe Center (and Bushnell), Ohio.
