The Classic Returns!

July 4th will be a huge night of racing for the 4 weekly divisions joined by the Robert’s Trucking Super Lates running for $3,000 to win.  On hand for autographs prior to the nights racing will be Dick Barton, Ron and Dutch Davies.  They are participating in the 2008 Racing For Kids Charities, Inc. raising money for local children’s charities.

ESAB Cutting and Welding is the host of the Fastrak Touring Show in their first visit of the season.   The car counts have been steadily increasing in this highly competitive Late Model Division.   Raceway 7 has had 4 different winners in 6 feature events and with a good car count expected do be surprised to see number 5! The trophy will be a custom carved bear by Chainsaw Don.   And don’t forget there’s one for a lucky fan too!

Zimmer’s Service Center is sponsoring the Open Street Stock Invitational for $1500 to win.    Driver’s from from a number of other tracks have made plans to attend and you can expect a feature where anyone can win!

The Applebee Motorsports E-Mods will run a regular show for points.   The division originally had the night off but so many wanted to race…. - well - you got it!

Lake Shore Auto Parts Challenger Crack the Whip will end the evenings racing excitement - this will be the first race of it’s kind at the track in a long time!   With $250. to the winner the race will be full of challenges!   The top 20 drivers from the RW7 point standings will start inverted (that’s 20th place first!) and all other cars will draw pills for the remainder of the field.  Yes we will start them all!!   Laps will be based on car count and the last car on each lap will be excused!    Watch for some great racing!

Dj Max will be entertaining before the show - save some room from those holiday picnics for fabulous track available all night!    Gates open at 5 with racing at 7:30.  Rainchecks from Sept 7 and 14th will be honored.

A final note - thank you to all the fans and guests for making our tribute to the great modified driver Lou Blaney a wonderful success!   The support was truly appreciated by his family and ours!!
