Will the rain out half way through last Friday nights program RACEWAY 7 management originally announced all features would be made up this coming Friday, but with the other events planned it would be a very long night for everyone with 9 features and all the other activities….
then it was decided to run double features for just the FASTRAK LATE MODELS and STOCKS….
but with a big 2 day show at TRI CITY the following two days and the possibility of a late night at RACEWAY 7 ….
ALL MAKE UP FEATURES FROM FRIDAY AUGUST 28TH WILL BE RACED DURING THE FIRST DAY OF THE 2 DAY CAVALCADE ON OCTOBER 16-17th…THE FIELDS ARE LOCKED AND WILL RACE BEFORE THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED DAY 1 CAVALCADE PROGRAM….
The FASTRAK LATE MODELS are racing for big money for TRI CITY’S big 2 day show and 7 management felt that if they raced two features Friday night it would be too much to prepare for Tri city …plus the chance of destroying equipment in the make up race could cost a driver points and in the regular feature as well for both 7 and FASTRAK regional points and it could also be a late night….so instead of making everyone rush to be at Tri City by 1 or 2 pm Saturday management felt this was the best solution for everyone.
Therefore it will be $1,000 to win and $125 to start for the FASTRAK LATE MODELS in a complete new show, EMODS, STOCKS, the $200 to win MINI STOCKS paying the top 10 spots, and ENDUROS this coming Friday with GATES OPENING AT 5:00 PM and racing to start at 7:30 NOTE THE STARTING TIME!!!!
Also the annual return of the VINTAGE AMERICAN RACE CARS will be on display before the program and comptete in an exhibition on the track followed by the regular nights heat race action.
Parking lot drags are cancelled for this Friday and a huge DEMO DERBY will complete the racing program paying $500 to win and $250 for 2nd.
It will also be ROCK AND ROLL NIGHT where fans can dress up as their favorite rock star lining or dead for prizes to be given away at intermission.
ALL GRANDSTAND RAIN CHECKS FROM FRIDAY WILL BE HONORED THIS FRIDAY SEPT 4th ONLY AND ALL PIT PASSES FROM LAST FRIDAY ARE VOID.
ALL PIT PASSES WILL BE $25 NEXT WEEK AND ADULT GENERAL ADMISSION WILL BE $10.
The management of RACEWAY 7 would like to thank all the drivers, crews and fans who braved the miserable weather all around to come spend a night at RACEWAY 7. Also all the parents who brought their kids out to compete in the bike races we thank them as well

In next FRIDAY on SEPT 11th the UEMS EMODS will take to the track in a big $3,000 to win invitational. KIDS BIKE RACES will be held at intermission.
