In the special $1000 to win FASTRAK LATE MODEL feature patience was the name of the game as multiple cautions slowed down the action several times throughout the 30 lapper. With the top 12 redrawing on the frontstretch it put KYLE ZIMMERMAN and BOBBY POWELL both 2 time winners on the front row. ZIMMERMAN held the lead until lap 12 when DAVE SCOTT overtook him and went on for an easy victory . However i nthe post race inspection Scott’s car was found to have an illegal part of the spoiler and according to FASTRAK rules was disqualified. Therefore KYLE ZIMMERMAN was awarded the victory over BOBBY POWELL and MAX BLAIR.

In the ZIMMER’S SVC CENTER EMODS ALAN DELLINGER picked up his 1st EMOD win in quite some time driving the Bootie Petsko #1A. Dellinger took the lead from the start and never looked back the entire 20 laps. RUSS DUNN was 2nd and DAN McDONALD was 3rd. JACK YOUNG took a hard hit into the outside turn 2 wall but was ok.

The CAMPBELL’S MINI STORAGE STREET STOCKS again went down to the wire as ED BOLYARD from the outside pole took off and held off a charging DAVE FERRINGER and MIKE GONZALES to apparently win his 1st ever Stock feature after being a 2 time MINI STOCK track champion, but in post race inspection his car was found to be too light and DAVE FERRINGER was declared the winner over GONZALES and CHAD STEVENSON, who remain almost deadlocked for the top spot in the point standings.
